Parents noticed a white reflex in her left eye when she was only 6 months old. She was diagnosed with unilateral Retinoblastoma at an advanced stage and received 6 chemos. They discontinued treatment and started ayurvedic medicine because doctors suggested enucleation of the affected eye to avoid the further spread of cancer. Within a few months, they realized that cancer was spreading as new white spots also started to show in the right eye. They consulted the doctor again and her left eye had been enucleated immediately. She received a few more chemos post enucleation and the tumor in her right eye subsided.
